Like the footnotes in a school project that say where each fact came from, so the teacher can check it.School project ke footnotes jaisa jo batate hain har fact kahan se aaya, taaki teacher check kar sake.

📘 ExplainedVistaar se

In RAG systems the prompt asks the model to cite the chunks it used, and the app links them. Citations build trust, make errors easy to spot, and can be checked automatically (does the quoted text exist in the source?).RAG systems mein prompt model se use kiye chunks cite karne ko kehta hai, aur app unhe link karti hai. Citations bharosa banaate hain, galtiyaan aasaani se dikhti hain, aur automatically check ho sakte hain (kya quote kiya text source mein hai?).
